Regina BlueJays win SPBLAA Championship in a thriller.

Saturday's game against Regina BlueJays was a heartbreaker for Weyburn Beavers , as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Regina BlueJays batting in the top of the sixth when Aiden Norton grounded out, scoring one run.

Weyburn Beavers lost despite out-hitting Regina BlueJays seven to one.

Regina BlueJays got things moving in the second inning, when Aidan Rieger doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Regina BlueJays evened things up at three in the top of the fifth inning when an errorscored one run for Regina BlueJays.

Jaxon Weir was the winning pitcher for Regina BlueJays. The righthander went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking zero.

Ben Manning took the loss for Weyburn Beavers . The pitcher lasted five and a third innings, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out five.

Weyburn Beavers totaled seven hits. Sam Mallory and Manning all managed multiple hits for Weyburn Beavers . Mallory led Weyburn Beavers with three hits in four at bats.

Rieger went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Regina BlueJays in hits.
