Boston Pizza Awards



Brandon Radmacher of the Regina Athletics recieved the Boston Pizza Player-of-the-Week for week one in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Brandon pitched a perfect game with 9 strike-outs. Brent Campbell of the Saskatoon Giants was runner-up for week one. There were no AA games  in week one.

Aaron Barret of the Saskatoon Giants was the Boston Pizza Player-of-the week for week two in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Barret was 3 for 7 with five walks, six runs scored, one RBI, and one stolen base. Lucas MacKay of the Moose Jaw Cardinals was runner-up.

In the AA division Braden North of the Moose Jaw Canucks recieved the Boston Pizza Player-of-the-Week for week two. North was 0 for 0 with 5 walks three runs scored five RBI and one stolen base. North also pitched six innings, giving up only 2 earned runs and one hit while striking out eight to earn the win. Teammate Chris Bastedo was runner-up.

Nolan Benesh of the Regina Mets was the Boston Pizza Player-of-the week for week three in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Benesh was 8 for 17 with two Doubles and a triple, six RBI five runs scored and nine stolen bases. He also pitched three innings giving up 4 hits, one earned run, three strike-outs, and earned a save.

Cameron Blair of the Humboldt Dodgers was the runner-up..

In the AA division Kurtis Knaus of the Regina White Sox  recieved the Boston Pizza Player-of-the-Week for week two. Knaus was 5 for 8 with three walks four RBI seven runs scored and eight stolen bases. Bethune Bucs Tyson Scott was runner-up.

Mike Dynna of the Regina Athletics was the Boston Pizza Player-of-the week for week Four in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Dynna was 3 for 4 with a triple and a home run, four RBI and  2 runs scored. Zac Mackay of the Swift Current Indians was runner-up.

In the AA division Michi Matsui of the Regina White Sox  recieved the Boston Pizza Player-of-the-Week for week two. Matsui was 3 for 5 with two doubles, two walks, three RBI and two runs scored. He also pitched 5 innings, earning the win and giving up only three walks while striking out ten.  Jaden Schmekel of the Regina Nationals was runner-up.

Boston Pizza Home Run awards went to Nolan Benesh of the Regina Mets, Tyler Folk of the
Regina Wolfpack and Mike Dynna of the Regina Athletics in the AAA Division and to Travis Baber of the pilot Butte Broncos, Ryley Lowes of the Regina White Sox, and Tyson Schmidt of the Weyburn Beavers in the AA Division.

Jordan Gerwing of the Humboldt Dodgers recieved the Boston Pizza Player-of-the-week for Week 5 in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Jordan was 8-for-12  with three triples two RBI scored two runs and stole two bases, he also pitched 4 innings, giving up seven hits, striking out three, and giving up only two runs.

Paul Vogelsang of the Regina Mets was the runner-up.In the AA division, Aaron Haas of the Melville Millionaires was the player-of-the-weekfor Week 5. Haas was 3-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored. He also pitched four innings, earned a win, gave up no hits, and struck out six.Grayson Locken of the Moose Jaw Canucks was runner-up. A Boston Pizza Home Run Award went to Hayden Johnston of the Swift Current Indians in the AAA division.

Aidan Marquardt of the Regina Athletics was player-of-the-week for Week 6 in the AAA Division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Aidan was 5-for-10 with one walk, a double ,and two triples, two RBI, scored 5 runs, and  one stolen base. Justin Kehler of the Swift Current Indians was the runner-up. In the AA Division, Braden North of the Moose Jaw Canucks was player-of-the-week for Week 6. Braden was 4-for-5, with a double, three runs scored,and a stolen base. He also pitched a complete game No Hitter, giving up only 3 walks, while striking out seven, to earn the win. Riley Switzer of the Regina Pacers was runner-up.

Zac MacKay of the Swift Current Indians recieved the Boston Pizza player-of-the-week for Week 7 in the AAA Division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Zac was 6-for-7 with two doubles, a  triple, a walk three RBI, four runs scored, and one stolen base. Zac also pitched five innings, gave up no runs on two hits, while striking out eight for the win. Tyler Folk of the Regina Wolfpack was runner-up. In the AA Division, Damon Severson of the Melville Millionaires was player-of-the-week for week 7. Damon was 7-for-10  with two doubles and a triple, scored six runs, had three RBI, and stole seven bases. He also pitched seven innings, earning the win, striking out twelve, while giving up one earned run on four hits. Teammate Aaron Haas was runner-up. A Boston Pizza Home Run Award went to Kyle Gimas of the Regina Wolfpack in the AAA Division.

Brandon pitched a perfect game with six strikeouts. Justin Nychuk of the Regina Mets was runner-up. In the AA division Blair Germain of the Regina Buffalos was player-of-the-week for week 8. Blair pitched five innings of no hit ball while striking out nine and earning the win, he also was 1 for 1 with two walks one run scored and three stolen bases. Chris Mann of the Moose Jaw Canucks was the runner-up.

Haydon Johnston of the Swift Current Indians recieved the Boston Pizza player-of-the-week for week 9 in the AAA Division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Haydon was 5-for-10 with two doubles, three runs scored, four RBI and two stolen bases.Mathew Ring of the Regina Wolfpack was the runner-up.  In the AA Division,Damon Severson of the Melville Millionaires was player-of-the-week for week 9, Damon was 7-for-10, with a home run, six RBI, four runs scored, and four stolen bases. He also pitched five two hit innnings, earned the win, gave up no runs and had six strikeouts. Sam Aulie of the Lumsden Cubs was the runner-up. Boston Pizza Home Run awards went to Dan Watson of the Weyburn Beavers, Ryley Lowes of the Regina White Sox, and Damon Severson of the AA Division.

No awards were given in the AAA Division for Week ten as only one game was played.

In the AA Division Cole Hoffart of the Lumsden Cubs recieved Player-of-the-week for week ten. Cole was 5-for-9 with two doubles and a triple two RBI, scored three runs, and stole two bases. Runner-up for week ten was Mac Warren of the Weyburn Beavers.

James Dombowsky of the Moose Jaw Cardinals recieved the Boston Pizza player-of-the-week award for Week 12 in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League.James was 7-for-11 with a double and a triple, a walk, four RBI, and 3 runns scored with one stolen base. He also pitched two innings, gave up 2 earned runs on three hits and earned the win. Graemme Scott of the Saskatoon Cubs was runner-up.

 

Boston Pizza Home Run Awards went to Zac MacKay of the Swift Current Indians, Bradley Senko of the Regina Wolfpack,  and Dylan Hicks of the Moose Jaw Cardinals

Jordan Schultz of the Regina Athletics was the Boston Pizza player-of-the-week for the final week in the AAA division of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League. Jordan was 6-for-9 with a double a triple and a Homerun, he walked once, had five RBI, and scored five runs. He also pitched three and a third innings giving up two hits, striking out four. Craig McWillie of the Humboldt Dodgers was the runner-up. Boston Pizza Home Run awards went to Cole Boychuk and Jordan Schultz of the Regina Athletics.
