- Congratulations to Nolan Benesh of the Regina Mets for winning the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League's Batting Championship for the 2011 Season.Nolan also was voted by the teams as the League MVP. Congratulations also to Dean Jaeb of the Humboldt Dodgers voted the Leagues top pitcher for the 2011 season.

- Cory Hall (Santa Clara D1) baseball team was honored by the West Coast conference for his play this season
- The Mets attended the Winnipeg Classic Midget AAA Tournament June 3-5, 2011 and finished with a 3-2 record and lost out advancing to the championship game in a tie breaking formula based on runs allowed.
However, the highlight of the weekend was Saturday afternoon as the Mets faced the St. James A's from Winnipeg and Mets 2nd year south paw, Josh Burke threw a 7 inning complete game No Hitter. Burke struck out 10 A's batters while walking just 1 and 1 HBP. Burke had his curveball going and the A's hitters were unable to get a single hit all game off Burke.
- The Regina Mets, Justin Nychuk has signed with the NJCAA Division 1, Daytona State Falcons. Justin will begin his career there this fall. * Daytona State had two players selected in the 2010 MLB Draft.
