About SPBL

The Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League (SPBL) was formed in 2011 to replace the Prairie Midget Baseball League (PMBL). The PMBL was formed in 2005 by members of the South Saskatchewan Midget Baseball League and the Optimist Baseball League in order to form one strong unified baseball league for Southern Saskatchewan. The creation of the SPBL in 2011 represents a paradigm shift as the league has evolved to include member teams from throughout southern and central Saskatchewan. The SPBL is the highest calibre Midget AA/AAA league in the province of Saskatchewan.
